A Saxonburg man is accused of threatening and assaulting a nurse Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Jeffrey Dylan McMillen, 33, was charged Thursday, Sept. 18, with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault following an alleged incident Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Police said while nurses were attempting to remove prohibited items from McMillen, he shoved a nurse into a bathroom door frame then shoved her out of the bathroom.

The nurse told police McMillen also raised his fist and threatened to punch her. Police said the nurse had bruising and redness near her left elbow from the incident and upper body pain.

McMillen’s preliminary hearing before District Judge Kevin O’Donnell is yet to be scheduled.
