Emiliano’s closing one of its locations

Emiliano’s Mexican Bar & Restaurant announced on its Facebook page it is closing its South Side Pittsburgh location.

The location closure comes after the Mexican restaurant’s Cranberry and Gibsonia locations were targeted in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid Aug. 7. The restaurant has since opened both of those locations.

The restaurant did not site the incidents as reason for the closure.

“Sadly, we have determined it is necessary to close our South Side location to allow us to more fully focus on making authentic food that brings people together at our other locations,” the Facebook post said. “We love our customers. We are so thankful for your support over the years, and we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to serve you again at our Cranberry, Gibsonia and Bethel Park locations,” the post read.
