James Martin Hughes Sr.

James Martin Hughes Sr., 80, of Zelienople passed away on Thursday.

Born Jan. 23, 1935, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Thomas and Grace (Brady) Hughes.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy (Zunic) Hughes, who he married on June 19, 1954; his three children, Deborah (John) Weber, James Martin (Ruth) Hughes Jr. and Scott (Sheryl) Hughes; his four grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Carrasquillo, John Weber, Kelly (Chris) Lies and Amanda Hughes; one great-grandson, Daniel Carrasquillo; one brother, William Hughes; and his wife, Mary.

HUGHES — The family of James Martin Hughes Sr., who died Thursday, April 16, 2015, will welcome friends on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Lawrence R. Smith, celebrant. Friends are asked to meet at the church.He will be laid to rest at Mt.
