SLIPPERY ROCK — Donations of Turkeys, Giant Eagle gift cards and monetary donations are now being accepted for the Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard.
An estimated 150 turkeys will be given away before Thanksgiving for families in need.
Gift cards of $10 or more can be purchased and left at Giant Eagle stores.

LYNDORA — St. Andrew Orthodox Church, 201 Penn Ave., will host its annual cookie sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.Nut rolls, pumpkin rolls, pecan tassies, date pinwheels, nut horns and lady locks will be available for purchases. A basket drawing will also be held.
ZELIENOPLE — A Ladies Christmas Tea will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh St.The event will include a silent auction, entertainment and a presentation by an aid worker to Afghanistan.Tickets are $12.50 each and are available by calling 724-452-2027.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Venture Club of North Pittsburgh will begin its annual Holiday Toy Drive Friday during the township's annual Light-Up Night.New, unwrapped toys will be collected from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. Collections will continue through Dec. 2.Donated toys will be distributed to area families through the Family Resource Center.
PETROLIA — The Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department will host a drawing and dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.There will be no dance as indicated on tickets already sold.
