Elizabeth H. Turner

Elizabeth H. (Miller) Turner, 88, of Zelienople, formerly of Gibsonia, died Friday.

Born Aug. 17, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie (Darrell) Miller.

She also was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

She was the beloved wife of the late L.H. Turner, the loving mother of Linda Labasik of Las Vegas, Judy (Tom) Fisher of Harmony and the late Rodger Turner and Thomas Turner. She also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, a lifetime member of Order of Eastern Star Norwood Herrington Chapter, the Richland Township Volunteer Fire Co. Auxillary and was a volunteer at St. Barnabas Free Care Home.

TURNER — The family of Elizabeth H. (Miller) Turner, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, will welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Bakerstown.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev. Terry Stoops officiating. Please meet at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Creek Meadows Resident Memorial Fund, 1630 Ellwood City Road, Zelienople, PA 16063.
