Grant Warren Barkley
Grant Warren Barkley, 57, of Harmony passed away July 23 while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.
Born June 24, 1956, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Pierce Edward and Helen (Lutz) Barkley.
Grant previously owned Barkley Excavating.
He was a loving father, brother, fiancee and grandfather who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by his fiancee, Angela “Angie” Dent; his son, Travis Barkley and his wife, Brianna, of Greensboro; his daughter, Tara Bruno and her husband, Carmen; his seven grandchildren, Gianni, Ava and Isabella Bruno, Pierce, Donna Jean, Gunner and Bruce Barkley; and his brothers, Kenneth and Dale Barkley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Barkley, who passed away in 1965.
Barkley — A memorial service for Grant Warren Barkley, who passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro at the corner of Clear Street and Second Street in Greensboro, Pa., with the Rev. Dr. Bob Randolph officiating. Friends are invited to a meal and refreshments following the service at the Greensboro Log Cabin.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor in support of the First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro, Attn: Rev. Dr. Bob Randolph, 536 Old Waynesburg Road, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
