Family services organization MHY Family Services, which has offices in Butler County, has launched its multisystemic therapy — psychiatric program in Lawrence County.

The program is designed to provide crucial support to youth ages 9 to 17 who are facing mental health needs, helping prevent out-of-home treatment.

This new initiative was requested by the Lawrence County Department of Human Services and was made possible by an $84,800 grant received in April from the Staunton Farm Foundation.
