Eva Jean Dunkle

Eva Jean Dunkle, 81, of Butler passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Eva Jean was born Dec. 16, 1936, in Eidson, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late James Nelson Wilder and the late Dorothy Bowlin Wilder.

Eva Jean was a homemaker and loved playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Eva Jean is survived by five daughters, Donna (David) Scheuring of West Sunbury, Dorothy M. (Bobby Caywood) Jones of New Wilmington, Margaret (Ernest) Fox of Butler, Mary L. (Patrick) Payne of Emlenton and Brenda L. Laurencot of Slippery Rock; four sons, Robert (Deborah) Dunkle of Karns City, John C. Dunkle, Larry Wayne Dunkle and Dale R. Dunkle, all of Butler; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one half-sister, Joyce Scheckell, and one half-brother, Jerry Wilder, both of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eva Jean was preceded in death by six sisters, two brothers, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

DUNKLE — The family of Eva Jean Dunkle, who died Friday, April 27, 2018, will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias officiating.Burial will be in the St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery in Chicora.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for funeral expenses be made to the funeral home.If desired online condolences may be submitted at www.williamfyoungfh.com.
