The 22nd annual Slippery Rock VillageFest is set to celebrate the community with live music, food and fun from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, on Slippery Rock’s Main Street and at Gateway Park.

The event features well over 100 vendors offering food, crafts, jewelry and more for display or purchase, a kid zone and musical acts that will regularly play at Gateway Park’s gazebo.

The music starts at 11 a.m. with Hot Rod Willie, a band based out of Youngstown, Ohio. The band will perform until 1 p.m. At 3 p.m., Piano Maniacs Dueling Pianos will take over the gazebo until 5 p.m.

There is also a craft show and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, where more than 35 vendors will sell to attendees.

A free shuttle will run between the East Lake and West Lake parking lots at Slippery Rock University to the event.
