Road Work DME

The detour of Rolling Road in Cranberry Township will remain in place through the end of September as work continues on the Freedom Road project, the state Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.

To access Rolling Road from either eastbound or westbound Freedom Road, traffic will detour onto Laporte Drive to the end of the detour on Rolling Road. Rolling Road traffic will detour to Freedom Road through Laporte Drive to Freedom Road.

The project includes widening, paving, new turning lanes, drainage upgrades, traffic signal improvements, lighting, sidewalks and other safety enhancements.

Gulisek Construction is completing the $18 million project, which is expected to wrap up in November.
