Patricia J. Rodgers Bowser, 59, of Butler died Friday evening at her home.

She was born in Butler on May 14, 1953, a daughter of Gene P. Rodgers Sr. and the late Margaret Halahan Rodgers.

She was a graduate of Butler High School and had attended the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Patty was retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was a pharmacy technician for more than 18 years. She was a sports fan and especially enjoyed football and hockey. She loved animals and her pets.

Surviving are her son, Randy L. Bowser and Renee Summerville of Butler; her father, Gene Rodgers Sr. of Butler; two brothers, Gene P. (Shellie) Rodgers and Patrick (Lori) Rodgers; and one sister, Mary (John) McKinney, all of Butler. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

BOWSER — Friends of Patricia J. Rodgers Bowser, who died Friday, June 29, 2012, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Deacon Mitch Natali of the St. Paul Catholic Church officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
