Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation awards scholarships
The Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation of Independence Health System, has awarded two $2,500 scholarships to employees working in Butler or Clarion counties within the health system.
This year’s winners are Donna Tucker and Nathaniel Weber. The scholarships aim to support individuals who are advancing their careers in the health care industry, particularly in nursing.
Tucker, a medical assistant with the Butler Medical Providers Clarion Residency Program, will attend PennWest Clarion University to pursue a degree in nursing.
Weber, an emergency care technician in the Emergency Department at Butler Memorial Hospital, will attend AHN’s Citizens School of Nursing with aspirations to also become a nurse.
