Stella Marie Sell

Stella Marie Sell, 91, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 2, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Elmer and Stella Marie End Lunn.

Stella had worked as a cafeteria employee for the South Butler County School District in the Winfield and Saxonburg schools.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where she was active in the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed baking, gardening and flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and chatting with her sisters.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Sell of Dandridge, Tenn., Victor J. “Jack” Sell Jr. of Cabot, Kenneth (Beverly) Sell of Arvada, Colo., Karen (Dennis) Stebick of Elderton, Sally (James) Pavlina of Saxonburg, and Donna (Glenn) Nagle of Sarver; three sisters, Anna Geibel of Fenelton, Rita Michel of Herman, and Virginia “Suze” Kramer of Butler; 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor J. Sell Sr., on Jan. 23, 1992; two sisters, Elizabeth Ahlin and Alice Geibel; one brother, James Lunn; one grandson, Gregory Sell; and one great-grandson, Daniel Stebick.

SELL — Friends of Stella Marie Sell, who died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with her nephew, the Rev. Robert Ahlin, officiating.
