HERMITAGE — The Hermitage Athletic Complex will host the second annual Fall Kick-Off Classic Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament Sept. 7.

Cost is $150 per team with two games guaranteed. The tournament is for age 12-under recreation ball teams.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The sixth annual Patrick J. Madden Memorial 5K Run/Walk will be held Sept. 21 at Slippery Rock Park.The community event is intended for people of all ages. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.Registration of $18 includes a t-shirt, $22 includes a long sleeve shirt.
