Slippery Rock High graduate Michael Ramirez scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season to help the Slippery Rock University men’s soccer team to a 3-0 road win over Gannon Wednesday afternoon.

Zach Hall and Declan Brennan also scored for The Rock (10-1-1, 5-1), who won their seventh straight game.

SRU is ranked No. 8 in the country — the highest national ranking in school history.

Women’s SoccerNicole Krueger scored the game-winning goal to lead Slippery Rock to a 2-1 home win over Kutztown.The win snapped Kutztown’s seven-game winning streak.Andrea Felix scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season for The Rock (9-2-1, 8-2-1).The Rock is ranked No. 21 in the country.
