Joseph N. Uram, 92, of Butler passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at his home.

Born Jan. 20, 1929, in Butler, he was the son of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Bronchak) Uram.

Joseph was a welder at Pullman Standard until his retirement. As a younger man, he enjoyed roller skating, golfing and was on several bowling leagues and had bowled several perfect games over the years. He enjoyed his travels and had an exceptional "green thumb" in the garden.

Joseph was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Marcia (Larry) Brown and Linda Souzer, both of Butler, and Barbara (David) Wright of Florida. He was so proud of and loved all of his six grandchildren, Steven, Anji, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Jeromi and Derek and his eight great-grandchildren. Joseph is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Laura) Uram and Richard (Connie) Uram of Butler, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert F. Uram; one brother, Michael; and two sisters, Kathryn and Margaret.

URAM — Per Joe's wishes, burial will be held privately for Joseph N. Uram, who died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
