Janet Livorine
Janet Livorine, 93, of Cranberry Township, died Jan. 12, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late J. Claire and Avis Crapper Henry, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tony Livorine; and stepson, R. Richard Livorine.
Janet was a voracious reader and a passionate lifelong learner of her interests, whether it was gardening, birding, sewing, traditional rug hooking, puzzling or golfing.
If there was a class to take or a book to read about those topics, she became a passionate student. She passed this gift for the process of learning and striving for excellence on to her family.
Janet married Tony in 1970, and their homes in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan provided fun and loving experiences for all of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the years. Her passions included dark chocolate, flowers and the Weather Channel. She could tell you the forecast for any family member living throughout the country.
Janet loved her family, supported who they were, and encouraged their choices in every aspect of their lives. This was a gift to all who knew and loved her.
Janet is survived by her children, Laura (Nick) Spanos of Carlisle, Karen (Gary) Marcus of Beaver, Lynn (Dale) Wagner of Harmony, Barbara (Don) DeGrazia of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Ed (Teri) Livorine of Fort Myers, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Jo Brelloch of Georgia and Betty Jean Vogan of Ohio (both formerly of New Brighton).
