Aline Joyce Dufford Gordon

Aline Joyce Dufford Gordon, 78, passed away into God’s loving arms on Sept. 26, her husband Norman J. Gordon Sr.’s birthday, to join him in heaven. He preceded her in death in 2005.

She and her husband had lived in the Daytona Beach, Fla., area since 1994 after he had retired from Magnetics, East Butler.

She was born to Russell and Lucille Dufford of Butler, June 4, 1933.

Norman J. Gordon and Aline were united in marriage June 9, 1951.

They had two children, Norman J. “Johnny” Gordon Jr. and Gloria Lynn Gordon Kamerer. She also is survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving Aline are two sisters, Beatrice and Beryl; a brother, David; and number of nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1951.

Aline was a member of the Oneida Valley Women’s Auxiliary.

She had attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler since childhood. She was an attendee of the Faith Lutheran Church in Ormond Beach since her move to Florida.

She had worked a short time for A-Penn/Penn Champ in East Butler.

The family has asked that any donations to research for a cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY. 10001.
