Hazardous and electronic waste collection to be held Aug. 30

Noble Environmental will collect hazardous and electronic waste starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Cranberry Township’s public works department, 20729 Route 19.

Accepted chemicals are paint and workshop products, automotive products, cleaning products, lawn and garden products, pesticides, batteries, light bulbs, light tubes, flammables, pool chemicals and most other household chemicals.

Accepted electronics include televisions, computers, laptops, printers, phones, window air conditioning units, dehumidifiers, mini fridges, microwaves, gaming devices and any devices with a cord, a screen or a circuit board.

Residents wanting to dispose of any of the above products can register at www.nobleenviro.com/drive-thru-collection.

There is a registration fee. Credit card will be the only form of payment accepted.

The township also will host a collection event Oct. 25.
