Butler football will host a seventh home game this season after all.
Athletic director Bill Mylan said Monday night the Golden Tornado (1-0), who were set to visit Westinghouse on Sept. 19, will now host the Bulldogs in Week 5.
Mylan told the Butler Eagle on Thursday there was a chance away games against Westinghouse and Taylor Allderdice (Oct. 10), both at Cupples Stadium in Pittsburgh, could become Butler home games.
As it currently stands, Butler now has just three road games on its schedule: Week 1’s overtime win over Shaler, Week 8 against Allderdice, and Week 10 at Central Clarion.
Butler hosts Brashear in its home opener Friday with a chance to start the season 2-0.
