The 46th annual Cherry Pink luncheon and fashion show sponsored by Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is set for
April 24.
Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon.
Reserved seating is available for $20 per person and may be purchased at the hospital's Cherry Tree gift shop and Truly Yours at the Clearview Mall.
In addition, there will be a Chinese auction and a bake sale hosted by the candystripers.
SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP - The Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department ladies auxiliary is hosting a rummage, bake and soup sale from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.April 23at the fire hall, Route 268.After noon, rummage sale items go on sale for $1 per bag.The soups available are vegetable, beef and chicken noodle. Cost is $4 per quart. Soup goers should take their own soup container.
EAST BRADY - The East Brady Riverfest committee is holding a fund raiser at 3 p.m. April 25 at the East Brady Community Center, Robinson Street.The event will feature Chris Denem impersonating Neil Diamond.Tickets cost $8 in advance or $10 at the door and can be purchased at East Brady Riverside, Nelson's Hardware and Bracken's Pharmacy.Call 724-526-5174 for information.
TARENTUM - The Heritage Museum is holding the second annual chocolate festival from 2 to 4 p.m.April 25.Samples of chocolate products will be available. WEXFORD - A community-wide spring yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.April 24at North Way Christian Community Church parking lot, 12121 Perry Highway.Cost for vendors is $5 for one space or $8.50 for two parking spaces. MEADVILLE - Registration is open for Town and Country Decorative Painters' 8th annual retreat set for April 29 through May 2 at the Day's Inn Conference Center.The retreat features four days of decorative painting instruction by international, national, and local published teachers.Classes for all skill levels, beginner to advanced, are offered in acrylic and heat set oil. Projects will be painted on wood, slate, gourds, fabric, glass and metal.Registration is required.
