Paul W. Brown

Paul W. Brown, 87, of Butler passed away at 2:25 a.m. Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Unionville to the late Earl W. Brown and Ella Mae (McCandless) Brown.

Mr. Brown was a member of the Unionville United Presbyterian Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp., serving in World War II. He was a life member of the VFW Butler Post 249 and a member of the Moose Lodge in Mercer.

He retired from Hilliard Mining where he worked as a heavy machine operator.

Mr. Brown is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Joseph) Lutza of West Chester, Pa., and Lori (Christopher) Davidson of Butler; five grandchildren, B.J. Davidson, Susan (Brady) Randall, T.J. Lutza, Janelle Lutza and Jaclyn Lutza; one brother, Robert K. (Wanda) Brown; two sisters, Mary (William) Alexander of Beaver and Joan Varrasso of Butler; and also by a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

BROWN — There will be no public visitation for Paul W. Brown, who passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Unionville United Presbyterian Church, 1114 Sunset Drive, Butler, with Pastor Matthew Kail officiating.
