Butler’s Anthony Trombatt and Boden Lenyk both carded a 34 as the Golden Tornado boys golf team topped Kiski Area 185‐197 Monday at Willowbrook Country Club.
Blake Scott shot 38 for Butler (3-2, 1-2).
Max Mottura paced the Cavaliers with a 36.
District 10 — Slippery Rock shot 351 as a team, placing fourth out of seven at a Region 2 Mega Match at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course.
Drake Kreutz came in with an 85 to top the Rockets’ effort.
Hickory had the best individual score — Aiden Rueberger’s 75 — and the Hornets also won the team competition with 316 strokes.
Mars 194, Plum 203 — Jackson Geiger’s 35 helped pave the way to this victory at Willowbrook Country Club.
Jack Weaver had a 38 and Jaxon Hittle a 39 for the Planets.
Plum’s Danny Caruso managed a 33.
Freeport 204, Deer Lakes 222 — At Buffalo Golf Course, the Yellowjackets (3-0, 3-0) remained undefeated with Ethan Crooks firing a 37 and Carson Kane a 40.
Christian Cappetta shot a 36 for the Lancers.
Pine-Richland 194, Seneca Valley 197 — Marcos Lopez, Josh Marquardt and Vinci Villella all carded a 38, but the Raiders fell to the Rams at Cranberry Highlands.
Addison Pangonis fired a 41 in leading Mars to a 179-201 victory over Butler at Suncrest Golf Course.
Elise Wadas added a 42 and Makenna Myler a 45 for the Planets.
