Manuel Telakis
Manuel Paul “Mike” Telakis, 80, of Mars, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.
Born Dec. 19, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Paul and Helen Pehenakis Telakis.
Mike graduated from Peabody High School before continuing his education and earning a bachelor’s degree at Penn State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Mike was a very social person and enjoyed many gatherings with friends and family. He was an avid Steelers fan and season ticket holder. Above all else, Mike was a wonderful husband and father. He loved taking his family on amazing vacations. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Angela (Tony) Telakis Stagnaro and Michael (Alyssa) Telakis; his brother, John (Mary) Telakis; his sister, Dee (the late George) Chronis; his four grandchildren, “Koni,” Melia, Leilani and Cameron; his many nieces and nephews; his lifelong friend, Art Avlon; and many other friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Suzanne Kay “Sue” Telakis; and his sister, Mary Cominos, and her husband, “Bill.”
TELAKIS — Friends and family of Manuel Paul “Mike” Telakis, who died Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with a service immediately following visitation.
Mike will be laid to rest at Homewood Cemetery.
