Traffic patterns at Moraine State Park will change over the weekend of Aug. 16 and 17 for the annual Mighty Moraine Triathlon hosted by Get Fit Families to be held at the Lakeview area of the park’s North Shore.

Traffic on North Shore Drive will be one-way only on both days between 6 a.m. and noon for the safety of the competitors in the bicycle portion of the triathlon. The pattern will flow west-to-east, starting at West Park Road and ending at Mt. Union Road. Park rangers will be handling traffic control.

A separate youth race will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Beach on the South Shore, which could cause additional traffic disruption.
