Robert Orloski
Robert H. “Bob” or “Big Foot” Orloski, 86, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025.
He was born in Butler on March 12, 1939, to the late William and Stella (Birckbichler) Orloski.
Bob honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a welder at Pullman Standard and a lifelong farmer, which he loved doing. He was a member of the Italian Club and French & Belgium Club. Bob enjoyed playing bingo at the Sons of Italy and loved his daily evenings at the French & Belgium Club with his friends and playing the “goose egg.” Later in life, he learned to enjoy family beach trips to the Outer Banks.
Robert was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Goettler) Orloski; father of Rhonda (Richard) Okeson, Denise Casher and Rob (Missy) Orloski; brother of Phyllis Steighner, Ken and Don Orloski, Mary Otero, Janet Lydon and Joann Lindstrom; grandfather of Chelsea (Will) Lanham, Courtney (Greg) Braden, Chad Snyder, Cheyenne Casher, and Reece and Evan Orloski; stepgrandfather of Jason (Kash) and Cassandra Clark; great-grandfather of Ella and Addy Braden, and Ryker and Colson Lanham; and stepgreat-grandfather of Katerina and Camilla Clark. He is also survived by his childhood and lifelong farming friend, George “Buddy” Spinneweber.
Along with his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, William and Jake Orloski and Germaine Voelker.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency and Tower 6 midnight medical staff, Herman Rescue and Butler Ambulance.
He will be forever in our memories and forever a farmer.
ORLOSKI — Family and friends of Robert H. “Bob” Orloski, who died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Full military honors will immediately follow in the funeral home.
Funeral Liturgy of Christian burial will follow at noon Friday at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butler County 4H, Ext. Special Accounts, 101 Motor Pool Way, Butler, PA 16001.
