William E. Hetrick

In loving memory of my beloved William E. Hetrick who passed away one year ago today, September 10th.

A year has passed since we shared time as brother and sister. I'll never forget the seemingly endless suffering you endured until peace finally crossed your face as you slept away. My life is sadder since you left. "Time heals a broken heart is merely a cliche!" Your incredible strength to fight an ongoing battle in attempt to evade death is embedded in my mind. You fought so courageously until your drew your last breath. I would not have expected less from you. Although your demise was inevitable, you tried so hard to remain here with your children and grandchildren.

Benny and your devoted friend, Bill Smith as well as many others miss you, too.

As our hearts beat on, it's a gentle reminder that as we live, a part of you remains alive. We're all grateful for the memories you gave us. We relive them often and as we do, our aching lessens until the reality of your being gone sets back in.

God Bless and Semper Fi, my Brother.
