The Adams Township supervisors Monday night:• Approved a self-storage facility planned for Hutchman Road. The fenced-in facility will have three buildings, a one-way lane throughout and a stormwater retention pond. The approval was pending sewer and water compliance and a reduced-lighting plan.• Gave preliminary approval to John Gall to convert a residence on Scharberry Drive to a salon and day spa/cosmetology academy. The academy is planned for the building's lower level, and the day spa for the upstairs. A 1,400-square-foot addition will be added to the spa.Gall received only preliminary approval because he needs a sewage plan and must meet four other requirements. He hopes to open the facility in the fall.• Instructed the township secretary to send letters to the state Department of Transportation encouraging them to help the township with traffic on Route 228 by continuing to support supervisors' stance that the planned improvement project must be completed as soon as possible.
