William Claire Pizor, 86, of Slippery Rock, Worth Township, died at 5:55 p.m. Friday at the Grove City Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Worth Township, the son of James Albert and Inez L. Ramsey Pizor.

Mr. Pizor was a retired farmer and attended the West Liberty United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Wayne Pizor and his wife, Kathy, of Portersville; a daughter, Martha Lange and her husband, Joe, of Slippery Rock; a brother, Leslie Pizor and his wife, Jessie, of Slippery Rock; and four grandchildren, Timothy Pizor and his wife, Brandy, Diana Cupec, Ronald Lange and his wife, Diana, and Steven Lange.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Jane Pizor, and a sister.

<B>PIZOR —</B> Friends of William Claire Pizor, who died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>SMITH FUNERAL HOME</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating.
