Glasgow honored with business award
PITTSBURGH — Cathy Glasgow, owner of Butler County Ford, has been named a 2014 Business Women First award winner.
Twenty-five influential business women in the Pittsburgh region were honored for their business leadership, community involvement and volunteer activities. The award recipients were recognized Thursday at a ceremony at the Omni William Penn.
Glasgow is the third-generation owner of Butler County Ford.
“I am greatly honored to be included in a group with such talented, successful and generous local women. I have always put emphasis on not only working hard, but also on giving back to the community,” Glasgow said.
Besides her professional accomplishments, Glasgow has shared her talents as a board member or chairman with organizations such as the Visiting Nurses of Western PA, Butler Downtown, the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealer Association, and the Capital Campaign for In-Patient Hospice Efforts.
She also is a Rotary Club member.
