Kaelyn McCann and Jayce Kinney both shot 42 to lead Seneca Valley to a 179-195 girls golf victory over Butler at Hiland Golf Course on Friday.

Pacing the Golden Tornado were Macie McLister’s 44 and Rylee Gage’s 47.

Pine-Richland 163, Mars 178 — Elise Wadas carded a 39 for the Planets.

Slippery Rock placed third out of four teams Friday at Oak Tree Golf Club. The Rockets finished with 350 strokes, with Isaac McCandless carding an 86 and Drake Kreutz and Gunner Freed both coming in with an 87.

Hickory hosted the event and placed first with a 305, including medalist Grady Kapusta (74).

Grove City was second (325) and Lakeview fourth (361).
