Ex-Buc Paulino gets 100 games

NEW YORK — Former major league catcher Ronny Paulino has been suspended 100 games for violating the minor league drug program.
The commissioner’s office announced the penalty Wednesday. Seattle minor league outfielder Cavan Cohoes drew a 50-game drug ban.
Paulino, who has played for Pittsburgh, Baltimore, the Marlins and the Mets, tested positive for exogenous testosterone, meaning it came from outside the body. The 32-year-old was out of the majors last season and finished up with Detroit’s Triple-A team in Toledo.
