Gloria Estefan slams Diddy accuser’s claim that he was tunneled from her home

Gloria Estefan has denied the allegations that a man was tunneled from a home she owned in Miami Beach with husband Emilio Estefan Jr. to a nearby mansion owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs, where the alleged victim says he was drugged and sexually assaulted.

The Miami Sound Machine star, 67,” categorically [denies] each and every allegation about me and my husband” made by Manzaro Joseph, according to a letter written to a judge obtained by Us Weekly.

Joseph filed a lawsuit in April claiming he was taken through a tunnel from a party at Estefan’s former Star Island home to Diddy’s neighboring residence in 2015. There, he alleges he was drugged before the rapper and an unnamed woman directed others to subject him to “degrading and nonconsensual acts.”

Gloria Estefan says the home referred to in the lawsuit was one of several she and Emilio owned on Star Island at the time. She claims that from 2012 to 2019 it was occupied by relatives, who would have “no doubt” contacted the couple “had strangers appeared” there “after midnight.”

“No such thing happened. Particularly given the occupants of [the home], I know that no parties were thrown during that period,” wrote the “Conga” singer. “At no time was there ever any ‘tunnel’ between the two houses, at least not while we owned [that home], and based on many years of experience with the City of Miami Beach, I believe this fact could have been easily verified through the public records of the City of Miami Beach.”

In his lawsuit, Joseph alleged he entered the back of the Estefans’ home, which the Grammy winner said would have not possible due to security provisions. He also claimed that Gloria and her husband were there at the time, and that Emilio moved his wife away from the scene after she expressed concerns over Joseph’s impaired physical state.

Gloria said the timing of the lawsuit should be questioned, as it coincided with the release of two of her new songs, which were produced by Emilio.

Emilio, who was named a defendant in the suit, has similarly denied the allegations. The claims against him were dismissed in late July, though Joseph was given time to amend his complaint.

Diddy’s attorneys previously denied the accusations to TMZ, dismissing then as “depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday.”

“[Diddy] looks forward to having his day in court where these lies — and the perverse motives of those who told them — will be revealed,” his lawyers said.

In early July, Combs was acquitted of federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, for which he could have faced life behind bars, but was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He has been denied bail ahead of his sentencing on Oct. 3

Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate hospitalized with kidney infection

Actress Christina Applegate is in the hospital fighting an agonizingly painful, double kidney infection with intravenous antibiotics, she revealed Tuesday.

The “Married … with Children” alum first started feeling unwell while visiting family in Europe, she said on Tuesday’s edition of the podcast “MeSsy,” which she co-hosts with fellow actress and MS sufferer Jamie-Lynn Sigler, broadcasting from the hospital. While on the plane home, she said she decided to go straight to the hospital from the airport.

Applegate, who revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021, jokingly calls the hospital her “pied-à-terre,” given her frequent visits. Normally, she said on MeSsy, doctors give her meds and send her home. This time, Applegate demanded to be admitted.

“I’m staying here because I want answers,” Applegate said she told hospital personnel. “I want every test that you can possibly think of or ones that you haven’t even thought of, and I want them done.”

Doctors at first suspected a urinary tract infection, and on a previous hospital visit had even gone so far as to quiz Applegate on her wiping technique, double-checking that she went front to back.

“Like, what am I, back-wiping?” Applegate said on the podcast. “Like, seriously, I’m 53.”

The “Dead to Me” actress said she was painfully validated when she awoke with excruciating pain radiating from her right side — and thought her appendix was bursting.

“So much pain,” Applegate said. “I’m screaming, and they ordered me an emergency CT at 2 in the morning.”

That revealed an infection in her right kidney that later spread to her left side as well. Now, rather than trying to send her home, the hospital “won’t let me leave yet — because things are messy,” Applegate said. “Because of this kidney infection, I have to have intravenous antibiotics right now. And that’s where we’re at.”

Sigler noted that if Applegate hadn’t advocated for herself, “this could have been so much worse.”

Applegate assured listeners she’s going to be okay, even while admitting she was “holding in a bag o’ tears right now.”

Denise Richards

Cops called as Denise Richards shows up at ex’s home amid restraining order

The cops were called on Denise Richards Sunday when the reality star allegedly showed up at the home of her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, despite a restraining order the reality star has taken out amid their divorce battle.

A divorce lawyer for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 54, told TMZ that Richards only arrived at the Calabasas home Sunday “after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present,” and did so “to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission.”

Phypers, who denies Richards’ recent claims of long-standing physical abuse, told the outlet that everything the “Wild Things” star claimed was “absolutely false.

“Denise’s actions are willfully intentional in the slander and destruction of what is left of a family,” continued the 52-year-old” frequency medicine” practitioner. “This is after Denise chose to carry on an adulterous affair — after being caught not once, not twice, but three times.”

Photos published by the outlet show the OnlyFans star speaking to a trio of deputies outside the home, which is owned by Phypers, his parents and brother. One image shows Phypers speaking to one of the officers, while another shows him hugging his elderly mother.

Phypers, who wed Richards in 2018, filed for divorce July 7, three days after he said they separated. Richards has claimed he “would frequently violently choke” her and subject her to other forms of physical abuse, including leaving her with a black eye in 2022.

She was granted a restraining order against Phypers, which lasts until their scheduled court appearance on Aug. 8, and orders him to stay 100 yards from Richards, her home, car and place of business.

Richards last week accused Phypers of disseminating her texts and illegally leaking her nude photos.

“Mr. Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order by, among other things, disseminating private information from Ms. Richards’ cellphone and laptop, which he stole,” her lawyer alleged in a statement to multiple outlets in late July. “These actions continue to disturb Ms. Richards’ peace. … Ms. Richards will not be responding to Mr. Phypers’ false allegations in a public forum and will be addressing Mr. Phypers’ abuse in Court.”
