Charlotte Mae Broderick, of Zelienople, went to be with her Lord Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025.

She was born Jan. 6, 1934, to Raymond and Stella Stoner, in Butler.

She was a graduate of Butler High School and worked in the cafeteria at the Mars Area School District.

She married John “Jack” Broderick June 4, 1955, and they spent 48½ wonderful years together.

Charlotte loved to tend to her beautiful flower gardens, bake delicious pies, and quilt and sew for her family. For her, the most treasured time was spent with her family and dear friends.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Stratton of Grove City, Janine (Mark) Barkley of Zelienople and John (Jennifer) Broderick of Moon Township; her grandchildren, Caroline (Matt) Fischer, Rebecca (Todd) Purvis, Grant Barkley, Luke (Nicole Brogren) Barkley, and Jack, Rose and Anne Broderick; her great-grandchildren, Alejandra, Mason, Benjamin, Reagan, Lincoln and Chloe; her niece, Gwendolyn Maxfield; and many cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John William Broderick; her son, Jefferey Broderick; and her son-in-law, Keith Stratton.

Charlotte will always be remembered for being kind, compassionate, loving and forgiving. She will always be a precious gift to all who knew her. Her strength and courage were an inspiration and have forever changed those that were lucky enough to have known her.

BRODERICK — A private family service for Charlotte Mae Broderick, who died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, will be held at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor Augie Hurst officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Charlotte’s memory to the Zelienople Area Public Library, 227 S. High St., Zelienople, PA 16063, or to the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org/ways-to-give.
