Carol Hill
Carol A. Hill, 87, of Butler, died early Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Chicora Medical Center.
Born July 21, 1938, in Geneva, Pa., she was the daughter of John V. and Dorothy L. (West) Bantz.
Carol earned her associate degree from Butler County Community College and was employed as a draftsman clerk at Butler Memorial Hospital for 20 years, then a receptionist at Quad County Oral Surgery for 11 years.
Carol enjoyed sailing, crafting, playing bingo, sports and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Lions Club and the American Legion.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Judith D. and Brian Campbell of Butler and Mary Patricia Hill of San Jose, Calif.; two grandsons, Brian J. Campbell Jr. and Kenneth J. (Juli) Campbell; granddaughter-in-law, Kianna Azimihashemi-Anderson; and great-grandsons, James M. Campbell and Owen R. Campbell.
She is also survived by one sister, Patricia (Hank) Murray of Churchville, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and children she called family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her son, John R. Hill; grandson, Nathan C. Anderson; and sister, Diane Wylie.
HILL — Friends of Carol A. Hill, who died Sunday, July 27, 2025, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
Private funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 8.
In lieu of flowers, the Hill family asks that memorials be made in Carol‘s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2835 E. Carson St., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, D.C., 20090-1891.
