Rich Wertz

Marmon/Keystone has announced two recent promotions.

Rich Wertz has moved from manager of business development at the East Butler office to national marketing manager for hot rolled seamless and alloy tubing at the corporate Office in downtown Butler.

He joined the company in 1989 and has held numerous positions since then.

Wertz has a bachelor's in business administration from Slippery Rock University, majoring in marketing. He and his wife live in Butler, and they have one son and one daughter.

Casey Boyd has been promoted at the East Butler office from controller/administrator to manager of business development, responsible for developing business in Western Pennsylvania and Western New York along with managing the Butler VA department.

Boyd joined the corporate office in 2007 as a business development specialist, then was a marketing technician and corporate buyer before moving to the East Butler office.

Boyd has a bachelor's in marketing and journalism from Duquesne University and an MBA from Indiana (Pa.) University. He and his wife, Jessica, live in Bradfordwoods.

BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College's nursing program will be visited Tuesday through Thursday by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing for continuing accreditation consideration.As a part of the accreditation review, the public can comment about the Nursing R.N. program to commission representatives.A public forum to do that will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in Lawson Board Room on the second floor of the administration building on main campus.
