Naka “Nobuko” Savory, 86, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Yokohama, Japan, the daughter of the late Chozo and Masa (Suzuki) Kaneko.

She is survived by two daughters, Elsie Wick and her husband, John, of Butler and Sybil Spell of Fairbanks, Alaska; four grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew, and one great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Savory, who died in 1995; one sister; two brothers, and three nephews.
