Dunkin’ on Main Street in Butler has reopened for business.

The store at 236 N. Main St. had flags that read “now open” planted on the property Wednesday, July 30, signaling the end of a “complete remodeling,” according to Mayor Bob Dandoy.

The reopening adds the national chain and only downtown drive-through back into the coffee competition with the three locally-owned coffee shops on Main Street.

However, the Dunkin’ app does not yet allow mobile orders at the location.

The store closed earlier this month and did not give Dandoy a reopening date.

The Dunkin’ location opened its doors in August 2015 and cost roughly $1 million to construct.

Attempts to reach the store Wednesday morning were unsuccessful.
