Betty Elaine Campbell, 66, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Butler County.

She was born Nov. 5, 1958, to Bennett and Virginia (Raymer) Hill in Kittanning.

Betty retired from Armco Steel where she worked for many years. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and loved her church family.

Betty enjoyed sewing, weed eating and being outdoors. She volunteered much of her time helping others. Betty was an avid baker. She loved attending Cookie College events where she would learn new baking skills, as well as showing off her delicious cookies during baking contests. Betty will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her husband, Douglas Campbell Jr., whom she wed July 18, 1998; two sons, Jeffrey M. Nolder Jr. and Jeremy J. Nolder; daughter, Judy Ann (Ryan) Watt; stepsons, Michael and Blakeslee (Renee) Campbell; brothers, James (Sandra), William (Linda), Carl (Joyce) and Larry Hill; two sisters, Sally Fear and Mary Bonatch; grandchildren, Lakota (Cody) Fair, Nakoma (Christopher) Davidson, Shy, Lyric, Kip and Miranda Nolder, David Dunmire, and Kaylee and Trevor Watt; great-granddaughter, Sadie Davidson; stepgrandchildren, Hayden, Avery and Sam; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; and a granddaughter, Natika Nolder.

CAMPBELL — A closed casket visitation for Betty Elaine Campbell, who died Saturday, July 26, 2025, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at CARSON/BOYER FUNERAL HOME, 724 W. Main St., Rural Valley, Pa. A funeral service will immediately follow, with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's honor to the Salem United Church of Christ, 316 Hills Church Road, Kittanning, PA 16201.
