Burgess-Fuller

James L. Burgess-Fuller, 90, of Butler, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025.

He was born in Washington, Pa. on Jan. 16, 1935. James honorably served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a truck driver for 10 years. He was known for being a jokester and a family man, who loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his free time, James enjoyed hunting and fishing.

James was the beloved husband of the late Karen Burgess; father of Bessie Smith, Charles Burgess Sr., Janice (Skippy) Kreider and Hollie Claypoole; brother of Bob Burgess and Kathleen King; and grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Billie Jo Burgess.

BURGESS-FULLER — All services for James L. Burgess-Fuller, who died Thursday, July 17, 2025, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
