Kittanning Veterinary Hospital in Kittanning, Armstrong County, has welcomed a new veterinarian to its medical team.

Samantha Bartley joined the hospital on June 30. Bartley who grew up in Valencia on her family’s farm raising boer goats.

Bartley earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay, where she majored in animal science and minored in chemistry and biology. She later received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University: College of Veterinary Medicine.

She has a special interest in small ruminant medicine, cattle medicine and small animal internal medicine.
