Adams Twp. to get new truck
Adams Township moved forward with the purchase of a new truck and a new chipper at a board of supervisors meeting on Monday night.
Township manager Gary Peaco said the truck is a 2024 Peterbilt winter maintenance plow truck, and that it is being ordered in advance because of the supply chain. The total cost for the 10-ton vehicle amounts to $180,932.
The chipper is from Stephenson Equipment and is a drum-style model 12XP Intimidator. Costs for the chipper amount to $49,579.20.
