Carl Martini Jr.
Carl Martini Jr., 79, of Butler, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
He was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 25, 1946, to the late Carl Sr. and Marion (Geronimo) Martini.
Carl graduated from Bethel High School and then honorably served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, where he continued his education in emergency medical care and aviation. Carl retired from the VA Medical Center in Butler after 27 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley, reading about history and scouting for antiques. On Mondays, he loved to meet his buddies at the American Legion for a beer and some storytelling. Carl was a gun collector and enjoyed going to the shooting range. He was a member of American Legion Post 117 and in his younger years, he was active in Scuba Diving Club.
Carl was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Libby” Martini; father of Jeffrey (Pam) and Christopher (Mindy) Martini, Dawn Smith and Danielle Foster; brother of Patricia Seward; grandfather of seven grandchildren; and great-grandfather of two great-grandchildren.
MARTINI — All arrangements for Carl Martini Jr., who died Sunday, July 13, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
