Russell Riddell
Russell J. Riddell, 75, of Florida, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Orlando, Fla.
Born Feb. 20, 1950, in Cambria County, he was the son of the late Dea and Buelah Nagle Riddell.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Russ was a retired truck driver.
He loved riding his Harley named “Rachael.” Russ had gone to Daytona Bike Week, and enjoyed every minute.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his extended family, Michael Keith and family of Barnsboro, Joshua Singletary and family of Chicago, Ill. and John Cheney and family; three sisters, Ruby Detwiler of Evans City, Sandra Tacoronte and Linda Garcia of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Carl Riddell of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
RIDDELL — A celebration of life for Russell J. Riddell, who died Thursday, June 19, 2025, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the Callery Fire Hall. Services will follow at 1 p.m. with James Boring Jr.
