Lifesteps is again offering its free Child Check program which provides developmental and autism screenings for children five and younger.

The screening is a brief assessment using games and activities to determine a child’s current level of development. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and the results are discussed immediately with parents.

In addition, parents are provided with knowledge on their child’s current state of development and are provided resources when delays are detected.

The Child Check program is available in Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Indiana and Lawrence counties.
