John Clifford Earl, 81, of Cranberry Township, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025.

Born on July 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Clifford and Ruth Magdalyn (Cameron) Earl

John worked for 30 years as a meat cutter for Giant Eagle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. He was a member of the Evans City Gun Club where he enjoyed shooting at the range. John was also a handyman who could fix anything. He often was seen following and participating in the lottery. Most importantly, John cherished his family. He was the best dad in the world. He loved being a Pap and Great-Pap, and was always by his wife, Virginia’s, side.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Virginia Earl; his children, Bonita Perri, Joette Franitti (Mike) and Jeff Earl (Deanne); his grandchildren, Judy, Larissa, Mario, Antonio, Nikki, Brittany, Anthony, Lucas and Olivia; and his great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Genevieve, Lilyan and Aurora.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, John C. Earl, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Jane Bizub and Pat Schultz.

EARL — Family and friends of John Clifford Earl, who died Friday, July 11, 2025, will be received from 12 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at St. Ferdinand Church — Divine Grace Parish, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
