Donald Wolfe
Donald B. Wolfe, 87, of Butler, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his residence.
He was born March 29, 1938, in Worthington, Pa., and was the son to the late Bernell and Beulah (Anthony) Wolfe.
Donald graduated from Worthington High School in 1956. He worked for Magnetics, Inc. as a laborer for 43 years until retiring in 1996. In addition, Donald went on to found Wolfe's Building and Remodeling, where he also worked as a contractor until retiring in 2006. He was a longtime member of Community Alliance Church, as well as the National Rifle Association. Donald was an avid big game hunter, and he was featured in “American Hunting Magazine” twice. In addition, he enjoyed reading his Bible, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and spending time with his loving family.
Donald is survived by his six children, Kelly (Robert) Calvin, Susan Hesidence, David (Mickey) Cummings, Cindy (Mark) Bonasso, Allen (Jackie) Wolfe and Bryan Wolfe; his 13 grandchildren, Grace Calvin, Olivia Joy Calvin, Hope Calvin, Tonia Heffley, Joshua Heffley, David (Theresa) Cummings, Aaron Cummings, Lisa Cummings, Joshua (Amber) Flick, Stephanie (Dylan) Igou, Tyler Wolfe, Rylee Wolfe and Colton Wolfe; his three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his loving goldendoodle, Lily.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Tonia (Rader) Wolfe, whom he married on Aug. 11, 1973, and who passed away on Jan. 22, 2021; as well as his sister, Doris Jones.
WOLFE — Family and friends of Donald B. Wolfe, who died Friday, July 11, 2025, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 East North St., Butler.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the funeral home with the Rev. Denny Krajacic officiating.
A private burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
