Suspect wants confession nixed
SUNBURY — A woman charged with her newlywed husband with killing a Pennsylvania man they allegedly lured through Craigslist says her confession should be thrown out because she wasn’t given an attorney.
Miranda Barbour, 19, was in Northumberland County court on Tuesday.
Investigators allege Barbour stabbed 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara about 20 times as her husband Elytte Barbour held a cord tight against LaFerrara’s neck and then dumped his body in an alley. Both have pleaded not guilty.
