The bride-to-be is the daughter of William Schofield of Youngstown, Ohio and Shirley Upperman of Edinburg.

The bride-elect graduated in 1981 from Mohawk High School. She works for Malatak PCH in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated in 1978 from Mars High School. He works for Roomful Express in Pittsburgh.
