A Sept. 25 wedding is being planned by Becky Wasylyk of Pittsburgh and Matt Fernandez of South Park.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Debbie Wasylyk of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gerald Fernandez of South Park and the late Susan Fernandez.

The bride-elect graduated in 1995 from Butler High School, in 1999 from Washington and Jefferson College and in 2004 from Duquesne University, earning a master's degree in elementary education.

Her fiancé graduated in 1993 from South Park High School and in 1998 from the University of Toledo. He works for Mellon Financial in Pittsburgh.
